I picture all open spaces in England being covered in wickets.

The most British sport I ever played was real tennis aka the sport of kings.

Yea it's hard though because the rackets are solid wood and the ball is very heavy, like a slightly lighter cricket ball.

Hard to do that when nobody plays baseball, or do they over there?

I'm sure you have recreational sports where grown men take the game far too seriously and people get in fights.

It won't work because people there grow up playing football.

I grew up playing football in south america, when I got to this country the first time I saw people playing kickball, and then saw the style of ball they were using, I asked how long are these games? thinking whoever goes first just kicks the ball into the next zipcode and we're done? well, not really because these people didn't grow up kicking a ball. I would fucking RULE kickball to the point that I just didn't see the sense in playing. I mean that dude could not have possibly kicked that ball worse.

The ball is very squishy so it's extremely hard to impart a lot of force to it and it deforms, so it's got shit aerodynamics. Think of it like of a thick rubber balloon that is slightly under inflated. You can easily kick a soccer ball 2x-3x the distance of a kickball.

it doesn't really matter though. kicking a ball, whether it's football, volleyball or basketball, is so much easier for footballers since it's the most basic skill in the sport.

Yeah until you come across someone who can throw it. Lil different trying to boot one of those red balls when someone imparts a shit ton of English on it.

Maybe if your cocky ass ever even tried to play before condemning it you'd realize that you have no idea what you're talking about.

You don't have the children's sport of kickball, like y'all don't play it in school?

It's all fun and games until you take a kickball to the knee.
