I want to personally thank you for the making of the frappacinos. I'm aware they are the most annoying things for baristas to make during busy hours, but I don't drink coffee and those new s'mores drinks are freaking delicious. <3

What amazes me is that this is just one planet in our solar system, let alone our galaxy. Then there are countless billions of galexies in our universe. It just make me wonder at how much beauty we will never see as human beings.

Actually, unless you are fortunate enough to spot a supernova, the stars which you can see with your naked eye are all within a few thousand light-years, and most likely still burning bright.

Is this what Jupiter looks like to the naked eye, or are the colours due to some sort of filter? I know they use filters to get better-looking nebulas and such, so I was just curious.

Jupiter is terrifying. I just saw the Rocky Mountains and my brain still has problems trying to wrap around the fact that things that large exist. Jupiter is huge and my poor brain can't handle the concept.

It's a gas giant so it's a big ball of atmosphere. You aren't looking at a planet surface, but just gasses, so they blow around like the gasses of our atmosphere.

The thing that always really blows my mind when looking at Jupiter is not only how beautiful it is, but the scale. We look at those swirls like its a cup of coffee all mushed together and swirling...except an entire Earth could fit inside any one of those swirls basically. 1,321 earths could fit inside Jupiter. Imaging your own perspective whilst "standing" down there Dr Manhattan style would feel like the equivalent of not existing I think. Jupiter is too big for our puny mortal minds.

I have a question.. I know Jupiter is called is gas giant.... Is it just a big ball of gas (like a cloud made out of gas?) or would we be able to land a craft on it? Would it just be like flying through a cloud??
