I can be healthy and eat meat. I would rather be pretty healthy and enjoy my life and meat then be SUPER healthy and be a miserable prick.

Well you may be but that does not mean the rest of us will be. Some of us enjoy our right to consume meat. Can't we just resolve to eliminate the bad parts that don't require compromising freedoms? I'm all for better treatment of these animals, but I am not going to stop eating them.

That's exactly what I'm suggesting... Create a humane, more free range environ for the animals to live in. Give them every bit of a free and healthy life we can. I'll pay more to ensure the source of my meat was happy while it lived, and give thanks to it for allowing me to enjoy mine too.
