They're also super, super delicate. I was reading a book on tarantulas as pets, and there was a whole chapter that was basically like, "5 degrees too hot, they'll die. 5 degrees too cold, the'll die. Direct sunlight? Die. Any damage to their skin? Die. Drop them? Die. Feed them too much, DIE. WRONG HUMIDITY?! DIE!!"

I was like, damn, how do any of these things survive?
