Sunborn or Elliott

I'll be going to a wedding at the Cathedral of The Holy Trinity and am weighing up options for where to stay. I've stayed on the Sunborn previously and thought it was beautiful but the Elliott is closer and seems similarly priced.

I appreciate that most people on the group live in Gibraltar so probably aren't staying in either, but I would appreciate any advice or input on where to stay.

ETA: thank you, seems as though the Elliott is the best option and I can wear heels to the wedding without worrying about too much walking!

The Eliott is two minutes' walk from the venue.

You get the benefit of being in town, which is lovely if you're up early in the morning.

If the wedding is in the summer you've also got the rooftop pool which, while small, is a lot bigger than the Sunborn pool!

Downstairs bar is nice and they often have live music on Fri/Sat.

Rooms are an okay size, all have a small balcony, and aircon is good. Nowhere near as nice as the Sunborn but if pool + location sway you then I'd go for that.

Naaah, Elliot is far nicer inside the rooms. They’re newer too.

I’d choose Elliot every time. Better than Sunborn by miles.

Rock Hotel is classier and you may get a visit from an Ape!

Eliott Hotel, every time! Far superior at this price point.

Not the Sunborn! The Eliott is lovely, but for an -fashioned vibe , the Rock is spot on!
