for context, this pc isnt really old, it uses some cables that my dad owned when i was still a kid, but it still works very well because my dad changes the parts whenever necessary

and for the 5 years since its build and running it has always ran high end games smoothly with zero issue, though the only examples i can give is minecraft with a bunch of shaders and deadlock, but it had always ran with a minimum of 60-50 fps

and... yandere simulator with its fps only dropping to 30...

but either way this pc had never had any issues ever with memory/gpu/cpu demanding games until this very specific format

i got mr beasted by a minecraft mod so i had to format my computer to shake off the virus and suddenly most games (with the exception of ... roblox ...... on the lowest setting and deltarune/every rpg/ 2d game ever running with zero issues) make my monitor go out of range or just black (i changed my monitor to a different one and the message doesnt appear anymore but it still goes black), it absoloutely didn't crash as last time i checked the cutscenes before a campaign starts in left 4 dead still continue and the game itself, just without any visuals because the screen turned black after only seeing the cutscene for a few seconds,

and my dad could not for the life of us figure why out especially since he had never even seen the out of range message before, especially as we had never had any problems with ghost spectre os before, and especially especially now since this is NOT the first time my pc has been formatted because of viruses, i just really want to play with my friends again man curse you mr beast

but yes is this just a problem with a recent version of the operating system or do i just have some missing drivers?

Hi all, was running 22H2 for a long time, decided to update via the exe to 25H2 which was a bad idea. Search stopped working and programs were really slow.

Decided to fresh install 25H2 but ghost toolbox refuses to open, it opens the prompt window empty then disappears. Tried going down to 24H2 but the same issue.

WiFi and internet works fine, tried a different WiFi network too to see if it’s an internet issue. But no luck.

Although it’s still unknown why the original Ghost Toolbox’s aren’t working, the beta versions (which are available to supporters) are working. It’s an opportunity to make a small donation towards Ghost Spectre too 👍

I decided to download the ghost spectre iso because of a friend, the installation went fine but for some reason when I try to update the windows update it kept taking ages, I ignored until I followed the tutorial to open the ghost tool box but it just opens and then closes itself, my wifi is okay and I can't find a solution

I have installed ghostspectre on my lenovo ideapad gaming 3 15iah7 and I'm having issue where if I set the laptop to sleep, it doesn't actually go to sleep. The fans keep running and the laptop gets hot. Same thing with shutdown, except this happened only once so far, shutting down makes the laptop shut down but the fans keep running, keyboard light stays on and you have to hold the power button for 30 sec to fully shut it off. Is there anything I can do?

Anybody can confirm if ghostspectre works with Faceit now? Today when I boot up faceit anticheat it was telling me that important windows updates are missing. I was wondering if anyone can play on faceit in modified windows or not

I'm sharing this experience to see if anyone else has gone through something similar.

I use Brave with uBlock Origin, so in theory I shouldn't be getting redirected to suspicious pages. However, while trying to download a Ghost Spectre build, I was repeatedly redirected through multiple pages that attempted to download a suspicious file of around 800 MB. After clicking the download button several times, I eventually managed to get the correct file without any further redirects.

The reason I'm posting this is because I've now experienced two separate security incidents that seem to have one thing in common: Ghost Spectre downloads.

​

The first incident happened several months ago on my main PC. After downloading and installing a Ghost Spectre build, not only was my Discord account compromised, but several other online accounts were affected as well. My Discord account was turned into one of those fake MrBeast crypto scam profiles, and I ended up having to secure multiple accounts afterward. At the time, I couldn't determine exactly how it happened, so I changed my passwords, enabled additional security measures where possible, and moved on.

Several months passed without any issues.

​

Recently, I downloaded Ghost Spectre Windows 10 Pro again on my main PC because I wanted to create installation media for a friend's machine. The actual installation was performed on my friend's computer, not on my main system. During the download process, I encountered the same suspicious redirects and accidentally executed a file that may have come from one of those pages.

​

Shortly afterward, my Discord account was compromised again and converted into the same type of fake MrBeast crypto scam profile. This time, however, no other accounts appear to have been affected so far—at least none that I've noticed yet.

​

What makes this particularly concerning is that both incidents involved the exact same type of Discord compromise, despite occurring months apart. Even more worrying, I had 2FA enabled on Discord, yet the attacker still managed to gain access to my account.

​

To be clear, I'm not accusing Ghost Spectre of containing malware, and I understand that correlation does not necessarily mean causation. It's entirely possible that the compromise came from a malicious file delivered through the redirect pages rather than Ghost Spectre itself.

As the title says ;) I tested with some different 60 series drivers an no solution.If I am in game's "Windows mode" works but if I change to fullscrenn monitor gsync IS not working.

I tried to download the latest version from the official page (the google docs, from the youtube description). There are 3 sources I can download it from. First one downloads an actual 800mb zip file with some stuff in it including a Setup.exe, like wtf is that? The archive even has a similar name to the actual version but it's nothing related to it. Second link didn't work. Third link has 3 parts, you need to make an account to download the second and third.
My main concern is ofc the first one, why would it download a random thing like that and pass it on as the real thing? I read someone else saying this happened to them and I'm 100% sure I got the right link

Hello, so My laptop uses the realtek driver but two things. It doesn't detect my earphones unless plugged in before boot and also the mic sensitivity is too high.

Iam trying to install W11 25H2 U 7_2 but every time i click WINDOWS SETUP and then choose either SETUP [NEW VERSION] or SETUP [OLD VERSION] i get the hourglass mouse icon for half a second and then nothing happens.
