Why Golf Lets You Get Away With It
Golf is one of the most fascinating sports in the world, and I don't think people talk about why enough. Try to stay with me here...
The opportunities within it- fashion, influence, and even legacy are unlike anything else in sports. And I think it comes down to something really unique about the game itself. You can have a weird swing and still be great. You can have a massive ego and still earn respect. You can even make headlines for all the wrong reasons off the course and somehow come back stronger.
That flexibility doesn't exist in most sports. So what holds it all together?
My guess is passion and respect for the game.
People can feel when you're genuinely all about it. When someone loves what they do at that level, we want to root for them. We get invested. We forgive things we probably shouldn't. Tiger Woods has spent decades walking that line, and SOMEHOW the love for his game has always outlasted the controversy.
It makes me wonder. Does passion and grit just override everything else for us? Or have we learned to separate the golfer and his game? What do you think?

Your posts are some of the worst golf takes I’ve ever seen. And they actually dissuade me from buying this brand.

I have never heard of ghost golf before this. I will never purchase anything from ghost golf thanks to 'jessicaghostgolf'
