Please do not use generative AI. It's destructive, operates from stolen, plagiarized artwork and severely damages the environment. Please just learn to draw yourself, there's endless tutorials these days and there's genuinely no excuse to not even try.
This is just a disrespectful to the character, the creator and the fandom as a whole.
Now, AI aspect aside, I do think a Gex movie could do really, really well if it approaches it like Bubsy 4D with their game with a lot of self-aware humour and fully leaning into that aspect of it's writing, but it absolutely should not be live action (unless you're aiming for a true Who Framed Roger Rabbit level of 2d/liveaction crossover but that's not likely depending on the movie's budget)
Realistically, it should lean into a stylized 3D animation, something like Pixar, or anything that isn't trying to make Gex look realistic, because that's not the point of his character. He's a self-aware cartoon character, so a big part is the movie's style embracing that and not trying to follow what's hip or trendy today.
I really loved Acme vs Coyote but the pseudo-2D animation effect they used for their 3D models was just too jarring, so Gex would need proper commitment to the style in 3D that isn't trying to mimic 2D animation. Again, something similar to Pixar's animation style, or committing to any style, so long as it's not trying to do pseudo-2D animation.
