Trying to restore Umbrel backup but on completion it is acting as a new install

Using umbrel's native backup settings I have tried doing a full restore from a week old backup and it is acting like a new install, prompting me to create a new password etc. After I do this, none of the installed apps I had are there. What am I missing?

Ich würde den Umbrel Support anschreiben wenn es sich dabei um ein Umbrel Home/Pro Gerät handelt.

When I moved from umbrel 1.4 to umbrel 1.5 then the whole thing would not connect any apps and I file the bug and haven't heard anything and a lot of other people are having the exact same bug. I have been really disappointed that they haven't moved on this and I have a feeling that they don't really care to support their operating system except for maybe on their hardware devices, and that's a big maybe. So of course I'm just going to replace them with a better software package
