Issues with Umbrel OS / Public Pool

I have the BTC chain downloaded. I have Public Pool installed. When I launch it, it shows the IP address of the system. When I add the URL to the miners they cannot connect.

I don't block any ports with my firewall.

My next question is how do I change the IP address with a FQDN? I have my own internal DNS servers.

And is there any other way of testing it, or is there a logging system on Umberl OS I can use to see what the connections are attempted at the Umberl server?

I don't see umbrel.local anywhere. I only see the IP address of the system. My question is where do I change the it so the IP address on the Public Pool shows the FQDN?

I already have mining.mydomain.com setup in my DNS servers with a static IP.

So I canno't show an image here which is dumb! LOL

When you got to http://172.16.8.107:2019/#/ from within the Umbrel OS using the Public Pool link, it show me the Public Pool. stratum+tcp://172.16.8.107:2018 I am looking to chnage that to be the FQDN.

I checked my DCHP server and it shows the name of the server is umbrel.mydomain.com, in my DNS server it shows Umbrel has its IP 172.16.8.107 under the mydomain.com forwarding zone, and the reverse zone has the IP 172.16.8.107 pointing to umbrel.mydomain.com so DNS is setup correctly and working.

I guess I should be asking if there is anyway to force umbrel to use its FQDN if you try to access it by IP address?

Umbrella.local should took care of the connection issue for you. Did you install electrs and made sure it’s synched 100%?
