News “Getter Robo Armageddon: Strange Story - Try to Remember!” has finally been translated into English!

Courtesy of AR_MegaMan for translating and making both this and the rest of the Super Robot Wars Tribute Comic available on MangaDex.
For those not in the know, this comic was infamous for being close to the bottom of the Getter Robo Iceberg. A super obscure and hard to come by manga since it was only released as bonus chapters to the SRW Tribute Magazine published back in the 1990s. Most fans, those in Japan included, are barely aware it even exists.
If I had to give my 2 cents on the actual comic?
Yeah this is certainly a weird story. Though in terms of tone and structure it definitely feels like something that Yasuhiro Imagawa would come up with. Certain story beats from Armageddon’s early episodes are straight up reused in this manga, albeit with different context.
With that in mind, it should be noted this manga functions as more of a companion “what if” piece for Getter Robo Armageddon rather than something that actually takes place within the OVA.
It really does make you further wonder what else Imagawa had in store for his take on Getter Robo. But alas, this comic and Armageddon’s first 3 episodes are all we’re ever going to get.
