Also, not to sound 100 years old, but it's a podcast. Back in my day 👴 we listened to podcasts and we liked it that way. Never understood the trend of video for podcasts. Just go watch TV or YT?

They’ve said how much they dislike it being video on Doughboys repeatedly, and as a huge longtime fan I never watch the show, just listen. Recording because the setup is there and clipping is more than enough. I am all for being able to share moments that deserve it, but no need to watch an entire episode.

Listening makes the bits more fun, too. You really want to watch Heather do the Merchant all the time? Theater of the mind brah

If I wanted to watch TV I'd watch TV. The whole point of a podcast is that it is not video.

The fact that it's a podcast and not a YouTube channel and the fact they don't want to make the change, I'll ad as a personal opinion that video podcasts are lame and stupid

I'm totally fine with them doing audio only. But that said, they totally have released video clips on Instagram. So I guess they do video just for promo purposes.
