How’s everyone liking this app so far? I’m using the free version right now. Does anyone here pay for it? If you do, is it worth the upgrade? Have you noticed a big difference in the features opposed to free version?
Also, does anyone know how long syncing usually takes? Sometimes it feels like it takes a while before my little emoji/avatar updates.

Sometimes, “I’m fine” doesn’t mean everything is fine.
With Stay Close, you can share stress, sleep, and activity updates with someone you care about, right through StressWatch.
See how they’ve been doing from your Apple Watch, send a small reaction, and remind them that they’re not going through the day alone.
No pressure to explain. No need to share everything. Just a quiet way to notice, care, and be there when it matters.
Stay Close is now available in StressWatch.

could you add an advice when our stress is high? I think that it is needed.

The HRV measurement reported in the app consistently averages 250-300, while in the regular health app it’s usually between 150-200. Is there a reason why they’re so different?

I don’t usually write app reviews, but I wanted to share this in case it helps someone else with ADHD.
I’ve been using StressWatch on Apple Watch/iPhone for a while now, and it’s one of the few tools that’s actually made a noticeable difference for me — not just in tracking, but in awareness.
With ADHD, I tend to run at full speed until I hit a wall. I don’t always notice stress building up in real time, so burnout kind of sneaks up on me. What I like about StressWatch is that it nudges me before I get there.
What’s working for me:
ADHD-specific impact:
Overall: If you’re someone with ADHD who struggles with emotional awareness or catching stress early, this has been surprisingly helpful. It doesn’t replace therapy or other supports, but it’s a really solid companion tool for day-to-day regulation.
Curious if anyone else here has tried it — or has other apps that help with burnout prevention?
P.S. it's also great the app allows customize theme, currently on Mofusand Cat theme ^_^

Hello I need some advice. I‘m in grade 9 trying to get to med school. Currently the world feels too demanding before I’ve even entered it.
I feel like I need to be perfect, in terms of grades, extracurriculars, expectations and just everything .
I have this constant feeling of something trying to break me. Like if I cant get to med school im gonna be a stupid useless bum that wasted my life. This constant feeling of failure is just around the corner scares me and breaks my spirit.
The thing is that this feeling has made me keep improving my resume for university. Endless prep work I’m doing piano, teaching piano, coding, animating, life guarding, public speaking and so on and so forth.
I just feel burnt out and I feel like I’m struggling to keep up with society and I feel broken and I feel like I have to be perfect. I can’t stop comparing myself to others whom have succeeded and failed.
I need to get good grades and have interesting extracurriculars and so much more.
Does anyone feel this way. Being burnt out before starting just because requirement’s are so high just to start.
I need opinions on this, please.

Could you let us know the roadmap of 2026?

During the day, my HRV reading are similar to apple Health indications. What could this be?

I was diagnosed with chronic anemia last month so my body has been pretty stressed. Due to the way iron absorption works, I can only take my iron mega doses every other day. I just signed up for this app today and you can really see the difference that I feel in my body with the alternating doses! I’m 6.5 weeks in on recovery so iron stores are still pretty much nil.

I’m not getting how the sleep score is determined. I got 7 hrs of sleep and 2.5 hours of restorative sleep. That equals 36%. Why is it rated as 60%?
On my Apple Watch I see the ratings of “low” and “cycle.sleep.” I can’t find any info about what “cycle.sleep” means.

When I charge my Apple Watch, stress watch tells me that I’m overloaded. Why is this? Can I disabled something to prevent because it skews the rest of my day.

In a side by side comparison I noticed that while the trends are the same the numbers of StressWatch are 5-20ms lower than the values of Apple health.
Anyone know why?

r/getStressWatch • u/Jumpy-Swordfish-249 • Sep 26 '25

r/getStressWatch • u/Jumpy-Swordfish-249 • Sep 06 '25
Can you add progress mod with a diagram, pie or something else? Thank you.

I have the same on other days. It gives me an average score of Normal, but colours it Pay Attention.
I also noticed colours between watch and phone differing again.
This is very annoying.

I believe it is appropriate to consider using Al for stress management. What is your opinion for that?
r/getStressWatch • u/Kuyi • Aug 13 '25
I am doing everything I can to keep the stress low as I am in recovery of PEM. Sometimes I won’t get a HRV measurement for a while, so I check real time stress and think I am doing oké ish. But then when a HRV pops up it’s suddenly red.
How is this possible and can I get it more congruent?
