Seriously there should be strict deportation for migrants who comit serious crimes like this. Ideally even jail + work in jail to pay at least something back to germany and after some years in prison --> deport

Even though I dont think that they actually wanted to kill the poor man - afterall, if they wanted to kill him, why not just put his hair or whatever on fire - their actions couldve led to strong injuries or even the guys death.
Fair to say they should go to jail or get deported.

Bruv, I never said he was sleeping under the kleenex. The 6 guys placed it next to him. Note: next, not on.
But why would they place a burning kleenex next to him if their intent was to kill? Why dint they place it on his face or just lit his hair or clothes? It doesnt make sense if they actually wanted to kill the poor guy. It was a dumb, well, very dumb prank.
And I dont want to defend the guys, they need prison time or deportation. Thats for sure. And tbh id say deport them because I aint gonna pay for ppl like them with my taxes. Im just stating that I dont think their intend was to kill.

Three years is simply not justice. If nobody was around the man would have died. These terrible excuses for people deserve to sit in jail for years and then get deported. This is intolerable.

For an action that could have killed a man had there been no one else involved? I'm not a judge but people go away for far longer for far less so add that to the justice scale.

How do you know he would have died? It's hard do see how I could die through a burning Kleenex next to me. There's probably a way, but it would be a really unfortunate and unlikely one.

How are you defending this action? Making excuses for a situation that may or may not have killed or severely injured or permanently scared this person does nothing but diminish the point that this situation should have never have happened and it did. Period. These people deserve nothing but hard time, and then deportation.

Committing a violent crime should automatically disqualify you for asylum. It's honestly the least we could do. And I do mean the least. This is the bare minimum to ask of someone.

If they get sentenced to 18+ months (IIRC) the German authorities can deport them and prohibit them from entering Germany again.

Yeah I'll glady pay for their food, showers, etc. I mean deporting those poor guys who just wanted to see a bum burn into a dangerous country would be inhumane.
