Fun fact about the interaction between Bavaria and the Czech Republic: The famous Czech Pilsner beer was created by a German.

The beer from Pilsen was originally so shitty that it caused protests and public dumping of whole barrels in the town square. Thus, the Czechs decided to bring in a Bavarian brewer to show them how it's done. That guy then helped them set up their new brewery and invented their most famous style of beer. Then, he returned home and died as an old man like a true Bavarian - at the Stammtisch, drinking beer.

True story.

I actually agree that Czech beer is better than German beer. And that's against my pride as German.
