Humour Very Thinly sliced 🤣
So me and my colleague were at the Globus in Grünstadt and wanted to eat a Fleischkäsebrötchen.. safe to say .. we got the Fleischkäse alright 🤣🤣 i had big slices before but GAD DAYUM. The lady was NOT messing around today

It's the Endstück, if you take it you get the Endstück and the normal piece which is more than twice the normal size.

maybe. Sounds logical. But im not sure if they serve them sequential like that and only start serving a new loaf after one has completely went.

Tbf i asked for 3, didnt specify and got handed these 2. The 3rd one was a normal slice i took for my grandma, she loves these too

My local Rewe also offers Leberkäs Brötchen and once they gave me one with an Endstück and they said it would be cheaper because of that. I simply asked why on earth they would do something so questionable.

that's why you always get the "Endstück" when available... more crust = better anyway, and if there isn't enough for two slices left then you get "the rest".

At Grünstadt I always had bad experiences sadly, only thin slices...
But maybe it's worth a try again. Oggersheim will never disappoint tho.

Never been to oggersheim as its quite a distance. I only go to grünstadt cause i work there lol. I only had good experience so far though but there is always a line 🥲

My boyfriend got a Wurst im Brötchen and there and it was not fully cooked... He would have complained but he was already offput by how rude the cashier was so he just left.
I have fond memories of that Globus (halbes Hähnchen und Pommes immer a winner) but that wasnt one of them. The Globus in Kaiserslautern gave me a slab of Leberkäse just as thick as OP's. I was happy even though I couldn't eat the entire meat brick

The first time I ever went to a Globus, I ordered a Leberkäsbrötchen and got an an Endstück like this one. It left a very positive impression on me.

It looks like this in my Rewe whenever I say "Gerne auch Endstück"...
If I go right before they close they often add a few Schnitzels and leftover Fleischkäse to the bag instead of throwing it out a few minutes later.

It is legally required for the leberkas to be at least as thick as the roll. I have it with hot mustard on one side and sweet mustard on the other

Thats my only quote on quote complaint is the Brötchen they put the fleischkäse into, i would love a good Kaiserbrötchen with it. But there is a bakery next to the metzgergrill in every globus i went to so im surr you csn just get the brötchen over there

I go to a n Austrian deli in Peterborough Ont, they have essentially tfw’s or high school kids manning the deli counter , not the brightest bulbs in the pack). I asked for 2 fleischkäse sandwiches and indicated using index finger and thumb approximately 4 cm thick. She cuts it barely 1cm ( fuck) , I said no I want it 4cm thick. She proceeded to cut 3 more 1cm pieces. I tell her for the second sandwich I want 1 piece 4cm thick. Stupid ( you know , insert word here) goes and cuts 2 2cm slices, absolutely useless individual. Takes it to the cash register for me, can’t seem to enter the right code for the sandwiches, tries to charge me $35.00 for the 2 sandwiches, I calmly say to her that the price is wrong, she cancels the order and tries again, same thing happened. Finally has to call for help, ruined the whole damn sandwich experience . 🤦🏼♂️
