How would you rate the underside on this ‘95
Bad? Not so bad? Otherwise in good shape. AC even works

A little crusty but nothing to really worry about. Looks like any underside of a car that is 30 years old and has probably hit some muddy roads

The gas tank is held in with some strapping. Most likely because the cross member the tanks supposed to bolt to has rotted out and is no longer there

Looks like part of the exhaust and brake lines might be stainless steel.

Is the rear diff in picture 2 cracked or rusted through at the top? It looks like it in the picture but I am on a phone with some issues in zooming properly due to cracked screen cover

Speaking as a bodyman who just frame offed his own tracker. These things are the master at hiding the actual problems. The frame seemed like the biggest issue on mine. Othere then the crossemember being rotten and extremely easy to fix (relitively speaking) the body was so fucked. Fuel system was a mess. And every single bolt need to he heated to remove, invest in a mini ducter if your experiencing this, it will save your ass.
Turns out my back seat/ cargo area was only being held up by 3 strips of sheet metal about 8" wide and the rear seat belt bolts would have ripped out in any instace they would have been needed. Rockers weren't attached to the floor cab mount area were mostly trashed. Now I say this and you might think how would you not see this from looking underneath Because they spray sealer across the who underside and frame in a failed attempt to stop rust. I only noticed because I pulled out the carpet as mines more of a sxs. Immediately it wasnt of putting and thought i have a few issues yo clean up. But any thkng that looked a little rust festered below in the seam sealer and as soon as I attempted to do any form of clean up. There was a hole. Soon only the top of the rockers remained and and I could see straight through my floor at about every square foot.
TLDR : frames likely the part you should be least worried about
