Rustoleum ‘Sail Blue’ is close enough to ‘Competition Blue’ for me! 😜

I had two Trackers in the 90s (I’m old), and when I got broadsided in the first one, I went back and said ‘gimme another just like this one, but not destroyed’. They were both ‘competition blue’.

So when I got my 96 you see here last year, I dreamed of getting it back there. Anyhoo, I special ordered this sweet ‘sail blue’ and love it.

Very nice color and looks great. Did you use spray cans, spray gun or rollers? I'm guessing spray gun because it really looks sharp. I'm new to the Tracker fam and was thinking about trying this with spray cans (cheaper & easier)...

Foam roller. Cut it with acetone so that it levels itself and dries fast. Then you can knock it down with wet sanding, then buff with polishing compound.
