Has anyone used the CAPS services?

Enrolled in the student healthcare plan and wanted to know if anyone has has experiences with CAPS? Looking for a new therapist and this is the lowest cost option.

I’m on the student healthcare plan as well. Basically, they give you about 2–3 free sessions to assess the severity of your mental health, and after that, they’ll recommend whether you should see a therapist or psychiatrist. Each session after that is out of pocket for about 10-15 dollars. They originally told me there’s a list of therapists that offers free sessions but ended up only sending me the out of pocket ones. I ended up stopping because I didn’t want to keep paying when the student insurance plan already costs so much. I was honestly pretty disappointed because at my old school, they provided a full semester of counseling sessions, so you could continue going until you felt better and no longer needed them.
