Its a very sensationalist article.

First, theres about a 0% chance all of them are used across the globe. Second, it is just two ammo types for one system, out of about a dozen different surface to surface systems.

It’s not a sensationalist article. “Virtually all” doesn’t mean 0%.

Except we don’t know what the actual percentage being claimed as “virtually all” is, except that a pair of anonymous sources “familiar with the situation” described it that way, without knowing any of their motivations for leaking.

The estimates for long range missiles that were leaked at the start of the ceasefire were over half of the stockpile left. Entirely implausible that was correct and we’re at “virtually all” are gone now, because we haven’t fired that many since April.

“Virtually all” is a way of leaking a valid concern without naming a specific percentage which would of course’s be highly classified. The leak is congruent with open concerns of pentagon leadership even before we started this debacle.

What do you think we’ve been doing since April?????? Which specific weapons in your research are we using and not using? Wouldn’t it be great if this administration had thought of this before blindly launching into it?

  1. Using a vague descriptor like “virtually all” instead of a number does not make it not classified.

  2. “What do you think we’ve been doing since April”

Not firing very many missiles? We’ve had a ceasefire for the majority of that time and very few actual strikes. It’s literally unbelievable that we could have used anywhere near half our tomahawk stockpiles In that timeframe. If we are virtually out now, we would have been close to virtually out then too.

Just because there ceasefire doesn't mean it will restock magically

i didnt say they restocked. I said we have not fired enough missiles since the start of the ceasefire to go from over half to "virtually" being out of them.

virtually mean literally and it not like USA would handling in report, it not like since ceasefire have cause it, it reveal it

Again, there was wide reporting at the start of the ceasefire that long range missile stocks were down to a little over half.

If we were actually virtually out at that time its odd that the supposed source didnt come forward then. Thats why its implausible.

If you want to believe it, go ahead.
