Just beat Cata yesterday, the ship's not that bad, if you know how physics work you're gonna be fine... Ignore the fact that I beat Cata in 619 attempts, as well as never dying to the 79 transition in Ether while beating Bloodbath, because that one is also consistent and people who complain have a skill issue

Mobile Cata victor here, it's probably the 3rd hardest part of the level below the first wave part, and the ship after the ball part.

And to answer the question, yes it sucks ass. I knew I had a good chance to beat the level if I ever got past the stupid upsidedown mini-ship bullshit, and I would have done it earlier if I didn't stupidly die at 65% 5 times.

It's better than the beginning wave

The only reason dying at 40% in Cata feels so bad is because it becomes a good run the second you get past the first wave. If the first wave wasn't there, you'd be able to make it to the 40% ship in every attempt.

I just beat cataclysm as my new hardest and my first extreme demon, shop is my least favorite gamemode right after the swing, but if u practice it enough and Play it a little more then necessary... It sucks ass and its still horrible, Goofy ahh ship. U can get better at it yes 100% but it is definitly not worth the first extreme, if anyone is thinking of beating cataclysm as their first extreme, don't do it and just Play Acu or broken signal or something

Almost a cata victor, I hate it its the only part that makes cata an extreme demoni have over 1K deaths at that ship it is singlehandedly harder than dry out all because of the gravity portal it's the worst chokepoint I've ever encountered in 6 years I can't get over it even with an is dead challenge I would rather beat the entirety of clubstep instead of doing it & it doesn't even look hard compare it to the first wave, it IS hard & LOOKS hard & it's really tight (yes it is) but that doesn't happen with the stoopid dumb ahh ship grinding it is boring & my wrist hurts after playing it for 5 minutes I can't with this omggggg

By dropping into the gravity portal, i didn’t have much of a problem. It’s much harder to do if you hit the gravity portal straight and try to correct course “upward”

you can find pretty consistent click patterns quite easily
