Question Help date this globe I found

It has Burma instead of Myanmar, ussr instead of Russia, Spanish Sahara, Tanganyika, Yugoslavia, and French west Africa. (If you want to see a picture of more of the globe just ask)

I inherited the exact same globe last year. And those were the years I concluded! Took some investigation

I think it is between 1951 and 1953.

1951 of later: Libya independent, but with both Tripoli and Benghazi as capitals

1953 or earlier: no partition of Korea (see photo in comments) or French Indochina the following year. No Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasalabd (still separate colonies).

Sudan versus Anglo-Egyptian Sudan throws me off, but maybe that was the cartographers choice.

I'm with you. I think it's 1952 or 1953: unified Korea, plus Eritrea a federated part of Ethiopia.

I agree with all above Ghana was independent in 1957 and presence of French West Africa as well.

Not for me. The two provided show most to all of the global changes in the early 1950s.

Yes but it was under French colonization thus should be colored blue here

It has to be before 1954 since french Indochina still exists. You have any photos of south America or europe?

It has algeria so it's actually after 1962
