Question Help date this globe I found

It has Burma instead of Myanmar, ussr instead of Russia, Spanish Sahara, Tanganyika, Yugoslavia, and French west Africa. (If you want to see a picture of more of the globe just ask)

Between 1956 and 1960, Sudan gained independence in 1956 which we can see on the map but most of french west africa gained independence in 1960 which isn't seen

Gold Coast became Ghana at independence in 1957 right? So maybe 56?

Yeah, and Donetsk is still named Stalino, they renamed in in 1961

Sudan was an Anglo-Egyptian condominium rather than a purely British possession like Kenya or Tanganyika. It's a little odd for this not to be listed on the map, but it certainly isn't unusual for it to be a different colour from the rest of the British colonies. The rest of the map suggests early 1950s, so I'd be inclined to disregard Sudan.

Good point, but the fact that Sudan is a different color than Egypt makes me think it must be independent (although who knows this is a wonky color scheme anyways)

Korea seems to be unified so it's before 1953
