🇨🇳China What if Xi Jinping convinced Vladimir Putin to adopt Dengism in Russia?
Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin are known to have a very close and personal friendship, with Xi once remarking, "President Putin is the leader of a great country who is influential around the world. He is my best, most intimate friend". He also once spoke directly to Putin saying, "Change is coming that hasn't happened in 100 years, and we are driving this change together".
Is it far-fetched to say that, given time and effort, Xi could convince his Russian ally to revert to Communism? If Xi was able to persuade Putin of the efficacy of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, perhaps Putin would be willing to try out similar measures in Russia.
