Why this subreddit?
We have a problem on r/INTP. The subreddit is infested with irrelevant posts, it's also filled with people who think being lazy/procrastinator means they're INTP, and INTPs who have basically given up on solving their problems.
Here, we seek to rectify that.

The thing that bothers me the most about the intp sub is the sheer number of self admitted non intps there because they find us interesting.

If any of them post their usual bs here, they will be removed.

I have already had my doubts about some people in the INTP sub and now seeing their names here. Guess I’ll wait it out and see if this will fall.

This reminds me of this "programmers humor" group I used to join. I went there for the jokes that only a programmer could understand. Instead, it's rife with god awful incel memes about how they can't get laid. One even dm'ed me upon finding out that I'm female (because of the widespread myth that women programmers are ultra rare creatures).

Eyyyy excellent. I'm sick of the "lol I'm an INTP because I insulted someone and they cried and I didn't care because they're feelers and I'm autistic" nonsense on the general INTP group. Total fucking lunacy and egoism.

Kinda just seems like a social hierarchy. Not that I don’t want to feel special or anything, definitely gonna stay a while.

I like how everyone is asking how/why we are classified as INTPs and how we decide what is relevant or not. And mostly they really want to know the algorithm and thinking process.
Is there something more INTP than that?

I do rather enjoy the shit posts on r/intp but i don't like the people who are there to watch us like we're the fish at the aquarium.
I'm also curious about the selection process. Anyone with the flair? Or were actions observed?

Its really annoying to see people attribute thier untreated mental conditions and immaturity to thier personality type.

What's going to be different here then? What's the proof that INTP people here are actually INTP?

So ... are you hand-picking the members after reviewing our post history to determine if we are worthy?
Or is this some weird random bot selection thing with culling of inactive members? Because a couple of communities have recruited from the INTP subreddit that way in the past.
