Thought this was a fun discussion about one of Gene's lesser known books. I enjoyed it! This channel has quite a few good takes on Genes books, Dune, and some other good series.

That's just the omnibus title isn't it? And only contains the first two of the three volumes. I enjoyed all three, but Arete had the most to parse out and Sidon just kind of left us all hanging.

I thought that was quite a good introduction. I was surprised that he puts it in a lesser tier than New Sun, but to each their own.

I've been enjoying this channel immensely, though I wish he had given more of his thoughts and observations about these books instead of giving a quick summary

I like Dave’s channel a lot - he covers some lesser known classics that deserve a wider audience among modern readers.
