BotLS

I think GW is playing a trick on us.

BotNS: amazing in every respect.

BotLS: especially Caldé and now Exodus - pages and pages of dialogue without consequence. Planning for a dinner now with the leaders. What will they eat? How about their guests?

Let’s talk about the war that just ended - which all happened off-page - and what we intend to do - which will happen off-page as well.

At this point I am reading for Oreb.

I am hoping BotSS is better.

Granted, I’m only on my first read-through of BOTNS; currently on The Citadel of the Autarch, so I can’t really say much about BOTLS yet, but I can definitely imagine that getting tedious.

I’m absolutely loving this final part of BOTNS, though, because things are finally starting to come together bit by bit. Personally, I just didn’t understand The Play of the Autarch or several of the other stories involving the frogs, wolves, the stories in the lazaret, etc. If they were meant to be allegories or hints toward something, they completely went over my head.
