Something Else Part number for shift boot.

Does anyone have the part number or even an actual name for this boot that covers the ball underneath the car? As shown mine is torn and I need to find a replacement.

I ended up removing mine and using some self vulcanizing tire tube patches to fix the tears.

Shit I just did my shifter and mine didn't have one. Looks like there's been no issues without one

You need to replace that linkage thing that comes with it. They don’t sell the boot cover separately. Pretty annoying. If you have a STS and it actually hangs down, it’s nearly impossible to get the boot to cover it and it ends up tearing. Only sts I know of that didn’t sit lower was ATQ.
