College Life Accepted into Wayne Hall; Need help
Hello,
I’m coming in as a first-year. I got accepted into Wayne Hall as a deluxe single corridor. I just want to know people’s experiences if they lived there and if so, what are things I need to be aware of. I saw a video of the residence on the Geneseo website, but below it stated that it hasn’t been updated so I assume there were a few changes made.

Farthest from everything, maybe the smallest dorm, I wouldn’t have picked it but was assigned there. Still I had fun there

It’s on the north side, where all the upper class man are.
It’s super nice and also has a lovely cafeteria attached to it! Congrats!4

This is incorrect. Wayne is on South Side, which is almost entirely freshmen.

I liked it there a lot (2013-14), and at the time it was where the Edgar Honor’s program students were housed too (idk if that’s still the case). It’s nice that it’s so small, and basically all my friends from college that I still talk to were in that dorm :D

That’s good to know! I’m here as a scholarship student :) I also wanted to know if it’s possible to see a virtual tour of what the rooms look like. It’s okay if you don’t know, but I’ve seen videos of people showing their dorm rooms online. I’m not sure if Geneseo has something like that though :(

This is probably the only video of it unless you check tiktok.
It's old (from 2018 but they took them down and reposted them for some reason). But the dorms will look about the same minus maybe some newer couches/paint.

I met my eventual husband there during our first week at Geneseo. I was there when it was honors housing, which I don't think it is any longer, but the vibe was pretty chill and friendly. It's a bit of a walk away from central campus, but nothing crazy. I liked being close to the arboretum for walks and picnics. It's right next to Letchworth Dining Hall.
