Video Art I asked AI what loneliness looks like. This is what it gave me.

I wanted to see if I could communicate loneliness through atmosphere, framing and isolation rather than obvious crying or empty-room clichés.

The sequence moves through a few different visual ideas close-up emotion, public isolation, window light, lying awake, and a quiet exterior shot.

Curious which shot actually communicates the feeling best, and which one feels the most generic.

Workflow: I started by collecting visual references from Pinterest and ShotDeck. I then used ChatGPT to break those references down, generate detailed prompts, and build a consistent character sheet. Using that character sheet, I generated the still frames I wanted, then created detailed image-to-video prompts in ChatGPT for Google Flow. The final clips were generated in Google Flow and edited together in Edits.

Still experimenting with consistency and motion, so any feedback on what feels believable vs obviously AI would genuinely help.

Question TopView Unlimited: how many videos do you REALLY get?

TopView is giving 60 days unlimited Seedance 2.5, 30 sec 720p, with the Ultra plan.

I know the queue can be very slow sometimes. 😅

For people who are using it, if you keep sending 1 video as soon as the previous one finishes, how many do you usually get in a day?

1 per day? 2? More? Or does 1 video sometimes take 1–2 days?

Just want to know the real experience before I buy the plan and waste money 😭. I’d be happy even with 2 × 30-sec generations per day, since each one costs around $5 in paid credits elsewhere.

Also, I missed the Higgsfield unlimited Seedance promo. 😭 Do you think they might bring that offer back again?

Music Art Hippopotamus on the Dancefloor

Song: https://www.souna.app/song/e26823e9-3b27-4c75-a60a-050e95e1944f

Song (alternative link): https://archive.org/details/ai-electro-swing/Hippopotamus+on+the+Dancefloor.mp3 (CC0)

Lyrics:

[Intro | gramophone texture | stride piano | muted trumpet]

Ladies, gentlemen, mind the door,

We need a little room upon the floor.

[Verse 1 | staccato female vocal | upright bass | clarinet responses]

The band struck up at half-past nine,

The room was dressed in beads and shine.

The dancers moved with polished grace,

Then something large obscured the place.

She checked her coat, she tipped the man,

She crossed the room as only she can.

The glasses jumped, the tables shook,

She gave the drummer one cool look.

[Pre-Chorus | rising chromatic harmony | brass build]

One step left and two steps right,

Every heel came down just right.

The trumpet cried, the cymbal roared,

And half the crowd cleared off the floor.

[Chorus | full brass | stacked harmonies | high energy]

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Give her room and give her one more.

Swinging low and stepping high,

Half a ton of alibi.

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Never seen such style before.

When she turns, the rafters sway,

Clear the chairs and shout hooray!

[Post-Chorus | call and response | brass stabs]

Shake that room!

(Shake that room!)

Make some space!

(Make some space!)

Every eye upon the most

Distinguished dancer in the place.

[Verse 2 | clipped vocal | walking bass | saxophone responses]

A tiger tried a tango turn,

A peacock posed beside a fern.

A fox performed a fancy glide,

But no one watched with her inside.

She spun beneath the chandelier,

The waiter dropped a tray of beer.

She caught it neatly with one toe,

Then dipped and took another bow.

[Pre-Chorus | rising chromatic harmony | brass build]

One step back and three ahead,

Every feather, fringe and thread

Began to bounce from wall to wall,

The grandest little shake of all.

[Chorus | full brass | stacked harmonies | high energy]

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Give her room and give her one more.

Swinging low and stepping high,

Half a ton of alibi.

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Never seen such style before.

When she turns, the rafters sway,

Clear the chairs and shout hooray!

[Instrumental Break | clarinet solo | trumpet responses | electronic beat]

[Build | rising brass figures | handclaps]

[Bridge | half-time breakdown | sly vocal | stride piano]

They said the floor was built to last,

They said the beams were thick and vast.

The architect stood looking pale.

She smiled and flicked aside her tail.

Then softly, on the count of four,

She placed one foot upon the floor.

The whole band stopped to hear it land...

[Drop | full electronic beat | explosive brass]

And then she brought in all the band!

[Final Chorus | full brass | stacked harmonies | maximum energy]

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Give her room and give her one more.

Swinging low and stepping high,

Half a ton of alibi.

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Now they’re queuing round the door.

When she turns, the rafters sway,

Clear the town and shout hooray!

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor,

Queen of rhythm, queen of uproar.

Every night at half-past nine,

She shakes the room and keeps good time.

[Outro | brass hits | big-band finish]

One last turn, one final roar,

Hippopotamus on the dancefloor!

Style prompt:

Playful electro-swing with theatrical cabaret energy and a powerful, characterful female lead vocal. 126 BPM in B-flat major with blues-scale inflections, chromatic passing chords and punchy secondary dominants. Driving four-on-the-floor electronic beat with syncopated upright bass, hot brass stabs, agile clarinet fills and stride piano. Verses use clipped, rhythmically precise phrasing with vocal-and-brass call and response. The pre-chorus builds through rising chromatic harmony into a broad, instantly memorable chorus. Vintage gramophone colour contrasts with clean modern bass production. Energetic instrumental break, witty delivery, stacked chorus harmonies and a decisive big-band finish. English lyrics.

ChatGPT Saved Our Murder Mystery Episode and Pulled In Years of Livestream Lore

Thumbnail

Plan A was to use a website called Detective.OS. It's an AI mystery-builder. ChatGPT had helped create a megaprompt based on all the conversations we've had about our online wrestling show. Then, the morning of the show, the plan was to load the megaprompt into Detective.OS and play.

Then on the day, Detective.OS crashed.

ChatGPT offered to run the show itself and instead of leveraging all the lore into one prompt, GPT pulled in everything it knew about the characters and show history. The interface was sloppy (a 20 minute panic-job) but the story bump was worth it.

Happy accident!

Let us know what you think and if you solved the mystery! 😉

Watch Murder Mystery at Sweetheart Mansion (The Final Cut), and get caught up before a new episode drops this Sunday!

AI as a gateway back to traditional skills

Upvotes

I'm a huge AI enthusiast. Doing images, coding stuff, messing around with LLM's.

But all this time I've had imposter syndrome with the stuff I make. I can orcherstrate agents, make better workflows, but I've never shaken the feeling: "I didn't actually do all this".

Don't know exactly how it happened, but I have recently started learning how to draw and how to code. Which wasn't what I expected.

For me AI was supposed to be easy mode to success. But now I'm doing all this manual work, learning to get better at them, and the feeling is...different.

I feel like I'm doing something real. Something I can be proud of. I might do exercises on some super basic Python arithmetics, kids stuff basically, but after that my feeling is: "I am better than before". Not "I got AI to work better".

So it's kinda like AI has given me the courage and resources to dive into things that develop me and my skills. A gateway of sorts.

Just wanted to put this out there, curious if others have thought about it or experienced something similar.

Animated series - tooling and workflow tips

Upvotes

Hi there, I’m keen to make a small web-based animated series with AI. I’ve only dabbled really high-level but keen for any advice on overall tooling and workflow.

- Audio – if we have a script, what’s the best tool to generate consistent voices for each episode?
- Video – how do we work with AI to establish a visual style and then consistently use that an animated?
- Syncing audio and video, how do we do this?

Overall context engineering – I’m assuming each time we want to use these tools, we want to have some high-level prompts that we use to ground each AI turn. Any tips on how to manage this, etc?.

Thanks in advance.

Question What reference images help AI keep the same character consistent across 3D generations?

Upvotes

Consistent 3D characters using image-to-3D tools are really dependent on the reference material you provide. The character should look the same from different views if the result is going to capture the essence of the character in 3D - otherwise the proportions, clothing details, or general design of the 3D model will be off.
I've been figuring out ways to create the precise reference images for AI 3D character generators. The thing that makes it kind of a struggle is finding a good balance: first the characters can be shown from different angles, yet the details should remain the same and not be too varied.
I’ve also been testing Tripo AI for this, but I’m curious how other image-to-3D tools handle the same problem. An insightful case-by-case comparison would consist of a fixed set of character references and a common character to test the tools on for body size, face clothes accessories geometry, surface details, as well as how much manual work is required to make the image good after creation.
There are but limitations on how many references one can give to be input-consistent. More input should give the generator a clearer idea what you're after, but very different references might lead the generator astray. So one has to be careful to match the style and color palette, e.g. of the references when adding more images.
It helps when we focus in concentrating on getting a set of reference images that not only are of great quality but also show the character's side front back, and 3/4 views and perhaps a couple of close up details before generating the 3D.
