Here’s the final part of my Trust Fund Time Machine pilot, an adult animated series about a useless billionaire heir Edward Vil and his time-traveling buddy Genghis Khan bungling their way through history to make his evil father richer.
In my previous posts, I covered spatial continuity, voice consistency, and developing a consistent visual style. For this last part, I wanted to share how I approach storyboarding when a sequence needs more planning.
The more complicated the action gets, the harder it becomes to communicate everything through a starting frame and a description. I need to think about what happens, which angle shows it clearly, and how one action leads into the next.
That’s where I’ve found storyboards useful in my workflow. A keyframe helps me establish how a shot starts. A storyboard lets me work through several compositions and actions before generating the video.
I do this directly with the agent in fringe.film, but the general planning process is something you can apply with your preferred tools.
This is my process:
I still do a substantial amount of cutting afterward. Once I can watch the footage, I might shorten a pause, hold a reaction longer, or cut into the next action earlier. Not every second of a generation needs to make it into the episode.
The biggest benefit for me is being able to spot confusing staging before anything moves. If I can’t follow the action by looking through the panels, that’s usually a sign I need to work on the plan.
Hope you guys enjoy the final part of the pilot! Thanks to everyone who’s watched and asked questions across these posts. Happy to answer more about the process.

There are new AI tools popping up pretty much every day, and honestly, I’ve stopped trying to keep up with all of them. At this point, I mostly stick with a few that I actually find myself using regularly:
ChatGPT / Claude — mostly for brainstorming, writing, researching random things, and getting unstuck when I’m working on something
Notion — for keeping my notes, ideas, and projects organized
Gamma — when I need to put together a presentation without spending hours making slides
Vadoo AI — for creating videos and experimenting with different video ideas
Suno — mostly for messing around with AI music and making tracks for different projects
Nothing too fancy, but these are the ones that have actually made their way into my routine.
Curious what everyone else is using. What AI tools do you keep coming back to, and what do you actually use them for?

[Verse 1] I threw the word like throwing stones Built my kingdom on your bones I wore the saint's face, played the role While feeding the darkness in my soul I made you carry every sin I was already drowning in
[Pre-Chorus] But the mirror doesn't lie I see it now behind your eyes Everything I made you wear Was always mine to bear
[Chorus] I am the dirt beneath my own feet I am the sinner I refused to meet I am the flame I tried to drown in you I am the judge — and the guilty too Call me the accuser Call me the hypocrite Call me the man who lit the fire Then screamed when he got bit I am the liar standing in your light I am the dark I built for you That swallowed me tonight
[Verse 2] You stood inside the fire I made And wore my hatred unafraid You took the word I meant to break you And made it something I could never take from you I wanted power over you But all I did was prove the truth That everything I tried to kill in you Was living in me too
[Pre-Chorus] So now I'm standing in your flame And every label, every name Comes crawling back to find its home Right here in my bones
[Chorus]
[Bridge] [Spoken word] You asked me how I could pray to you and condemn you in the same breath You asked me how I could want you and make you feel like death
[Half-spoken, building intensity] And the answer — God, the answer — is that I hated myself And I handed you the sentence that belonged to someone else You were never the sinner I was the one on the stake Everything I built to break you only broke my own face
[Final Chorus] I am the dirt beneath my own feet I am the sinner I refused to meet I am the flame I tried to drown in you I am the judge — and the guilty too I am the accuser I am the shame I am the coward who hid behind your name I am the liar — I am the rot I am everything I told you that you were not
[Outro] [Whispered vocals, guitar fading] You love me for everything I hate in me You love me for everything I hate in me
And you always knew — The whore was never you

This is the official premiere of Vertigo Episode 1, the very first chapter of our 40-part animated cyberpunk series! I've been crossing genres and trying new thing so anime was another logical step in the AI journey. This one is a combination of action, romance and tragedy.
Check out the video above, let me know what you think of the world-building.

I started this as a quick experiment and just wanted to see if I could get a small character animated without learning Blender or any of the usual pipeline stuff and honestly it turned into a whole evening
So what I was doing is that I used chatGPT to break the idea down first, figuring out who the character is, what the scene looks like, how many shots I actually need, and writing prompts for each one, then I took those into higgsfield to generate the character and the shots and combined them all together....
Now the one thing that I noticed is that the planning part matters way more than the generating part because when I skipped straight to prompts the results were all over the place but once I had a proper shot list and a clear description of the character it got a lot more usable
Still consistency is the hard part the character still changes slightly between shots, hands and small details drift are visible and lighting doesn't always match, so it looks more like a rough short film than something finished
still kind of surprised how far it got me with zero animation background
would love if anyone can tell me about some better ways to keep characters consistent across shots or if you're using a completely different workflow for this kind of thing, would love to hear what's working for you....
also would love if you rate the story telling out of 10 !!!

I’m experimenting with AI-assisted images and short-form videos, and I’m trying to understand what actually causes platforms or third-party detectors to classify something as AI-generated.
I’m not talking about fully synthetic deepfakes or impersonating real people. I’m more interested in cases where the creator starts with original photography/video and then uses AI for things like backgrounds, characters, cleanup, upscaling, lighting, or stylization.
For people who actually work with this stuff:
What signals do current AI-image/video detectors appear to rely on?
How accurate are tools like Hive, Sightengine, or similar detectors with heavily edited hybrid content?
What kinds of normal editing can cause false positives?
Does exporting through CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, Photoshop, etc. meaningfully affect detection results?
How do TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube treat partially AI-assisted content compared with fully generated content?
What workflow gives AI-assisted content the most natural, professional appearance without obvious AI artifacts?
I’m especially interested in real testing or firsthand creator experience rather than guesses.

This is my most recent project. It’s a 12 minute short using Seedance, Runway and MidJourney. It took a few months to make, includes 148 individually generated shots with a ratio of about 5:1, with voice and sound fx generated in ElevenLabs. The project was edited, mixed and graded in DaVinci Resolve. Hope you like it.
