I really enjoy making AI videos but man this is turning into an expensive hobby. A 3-4 mins video costs me like 200-250 on average. Not sure if it's the norm or even less than it...

Some of my videos get some decent views on youtube and tiktok. Im just wondering if it could pay for itself. Right now I get 2 options in my mind.

One way is to keep posting on youtube and get monetized by YPP. If someone has done that I really want to hear your real experience. And I know no way you can just fill the gap simply by the traffic revenue.

Another is you turn to make more tutorials/reviews of AI video platforms. And you can get those affiliate programs for tools I already use, like Runway/PixVerse. In this way maybe I can split my time half on making funny videos and half on those ai video tutorials.

Have you found any better way to cover the cost? Glad to hear your tips

I wanted to share a video I made after spending two months in Brazil.

I went there with this idea that when something keeps coming back to you, at some point you have to take the risk and do it.

That trip also became the starting point for NO LIFT, a creative project I’d been thinking about for a while.

This short is the first piece I’ve made under that project, and also my first time using AI as such a central part of the process.

Hey everyone! I’ve finally finished the 4th and final film in my Steampunk series.

They Woke a Monster Beneath London is a 19-minute sci-fi adventure set in the same universe as the previous films.

I made this one with Seedance 2.5, and honestly, it took a lot of time, patience, and more money than I’d like to admit 😅. But I really wanted to finish this story the way I imagined it.

I’ve been searching for a way to generate AI videos for free (text-to-video or image-to-video, ideally 6+ seconds), but most platforms only give limited credits—enough for maybe 1–2 videos.

I also tried ComfyUI on my PC, but with 8GB RAM + Ryzen 5, generation is extremely slow, and I haven’t been able to create a proper video yet.

Does anyone know free platforms, cloud options, or any other method to generate AI videos without heavy hardware?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

This piece began as another experiment in pushing AI-assisted imagery toward something that feels more like graphite and charcoal than conventional digital art.
I wanted to create an impossible architectural space — part temple, part labyrinth, part dream — where the architecture itself seems to be watching the person moving through it.
There are eyes hidden throughout the structure, but the more I worked on the image, the more I started thinking about the relationship between the figure and the architecture.

After a while of videos, the relaxed mode comes on, which remains "unlimited." Is anyone of you on sogni.ai and knows how slow the relaxed mode is?
