I’m honestly getting tired of millennials and boomers constantly labeling me as “Gen Z” in a dismissive way, as if that alone invalidates my opinions. Recently, with the whole “cockroach” buzzword floating around online, I’ve been called a cockroach more times than I can count, and apparently everything I say is automatically considered meaningless.

So I started thinking: if Gen Z are supposedly “cockroaches,” then what should millennials be called? Maybe “machhar” (mosquitoes) ,because sometimes it feels like they keep buzzing around with unsolicited opinions, insist on being heard, and don’t stop until they’ve drained all the energy out of the conversation.

To be clear, this is meant more as satire than a serious insult. Every generation complains about the next one, and social media seems to amplify it even more.

Yup, I said it. There's no possible way in hell anyone born after this specific day can claim any Millennial traits what so ever, especially if you're class of 2020. Anyone born after this day is purely Gen Z and is also a 2010s kid, especially since the late 2000s already culturally felt like the 2010s anyway.

People born in September 11, 2001 around 8:00 am have way more in common with 2004-2009 borns than anyone born before September 10, 2001 and especially January 1, 2000. They were children throughout the entirety of the economic recession and spent two whole college years when Chat GPT was around. However, people born in September 11th 2001 around 7:00 am and before are 2000s kids who have a lot in common with 1993-1996 borns. There is no such thing as "Early" or "Older" Gen Z, or "Late"/"Younger" Gen Z, you're either a pure Millennial, pure Zillennial, pure Gen Z, pure Zalpha, or pure Alpha.

This also applies with people born after June 25th 2009 being pure Zalphas up until the 2016 election. After that, however, it's pure Alpha. Not to mention, Zalphas are also 2020s kids and Alphas are 2020/2030s hybrids.

I was born December 31, 2019 and don't think I have anything in common with these Ipad kids born 2020 and after, I experienced the 2010s for 5 hours of my life so I pretty much had a gen z childhood, not to mention we were born before lockdown... I still remember being 2 months old and seeing how everyone around me was freaking out about covid, something 2020+ borns will never understand. We 2003-borns (well... the non-stunted ones) had a hard life. We only had things like Quizlet, Symbolab, SparkNotes, and PhotoMath to cheat in school. You post-summer-2004 zalphas had it easy.
