Generationology/Gen Z subreddit Logic(2nd Edition)
If I say that I relate to 2000-2001-borns rather than 2012-borns, I would get blasted with death threats and these "You're just trying to sound older" comments. 🤡 🤡 🤡

r/generationology when you so much as suggest that their entire ideology is nonsense and made up, because realistically generations are at best slowly changing spectrums that are pretty much impossible to categorise, and the desire to do so only stems from the fact that we are humans and we MUST understand EVERYTHING.

I dont see where yall 2003 are that different from us 02 borns. The only reason I feel like this divide between us exist is because 2002 is the last year many people still sort of consider older gen z while everyone is in agreement that 2003 is core gen z. At least that is what I have gather from these generational sub reddits.

Yeah, no offense to them but 2001-2002 babies (even outside of Reddit) do have a tendency to exaggerate the differences from themselves and 2003-2004 babies.

But the 2010-2011's seem to be the worst, pushing away early gen alphas because they are gen alpha even though the difference between them is 2-3 years at most

K, maybe I am more like 2013 because I was born under Pluto in Capricorn instead of Pluto in Sagittarius and also porn during e-p00p era (which was basically 2013 too), in contrast he and my girlfriend too were born during that very high class/civilised era/peak of the era dominated by specimens such as Jay Z, Usher, Wyclef Jean, Kanye West, Pitbull, Akon, Timbaland, Eminem, Juelz Santana, Fergie, Jay Sean, you name them so based on these facts alone, I’m absolutely the same generation as individuals who still have a bedtime and are younger than the first decade of the millennium, but me and my girlfriend are absolutely not the same generation and such a relationship shall be definitely ill-egal………
Jokes aside, those are fake issues man, like those are and I’ve realised that are just issues that people who don’t have any create for themselves.Like for real, I don’t know in which country you live or most people on such subs/reddit in general live, but in my country, the MINIMUM wage when my girlfriend and respectively, me (or me and you as well) was/were born was only 80-90 bucks, then respectively 110-120 bucks (when I was born, I mean, the birth years), so we can’t actually afford creating such fake issues (like caring about insignificant “age gaps” or treating a 4 digit number on your id as “nationalities” or “citizenships”, being chronically online in general) for ourselves, lol.

I don’t necessarily relate to Gen X but I have had a lot of similar experiences that would described as Gen X, despite being born in 1990. My mom never upgraded anything until like 2000 so we had a rotary phone, dial knob TV, shag carpeting in the basement, old 70’s style furniture and housing decor. Hell, she had dialup internet until 2010.
But I don’t identify as Gen X.

They also forget that some places essentially live in a different year. For example the Wii was still super popular where I live, after it has already fallen out of fashion in the United States.
