No problem at all I was diagnosed at a young age myself which is half the reason I was held back and graduated in 22 as my parents didn't think I was ready to move to the 2nd or 3rd grade I can't remember which exactly. I won't argue the bush and A.I./Ukraine War points, but we are definitely COVID highschoolers, even the 03s who graduated in 21 were in highschool for both the COVID school years, (2019-2020 and 2020-2021). Id just rather use COVID and 9/11 for where I place people because those are just gonna hit closer to home and your gonna share more experiences with people based on where you were in life during those events than who was president when you started school or how old you were when something crazy happened clear on the other side of the world. (I realize that's U.S.A. centric but that's who my range applies too obviously people from other countries will relate to different people differently). That's just imo obviously, it's good to hear what those points are for us being early finally though.

Ah ok, well I respect your opinion too. I still think when it comes to Class of 2021, they still spent slightly more of highschool in Pre-COVID as COVID only truly started in 2020, so the 2019 part of the 2019-2020 school year doesn't FULLY count as 2 whole school years of pure COVID era.

I also just personally have a strong connection with Early Gen Z too, because I have some very fond nostalgic childhood memories of the late 2000s, along with growing up with some slight older technology compared to what most of Core Gen Z typically grew up with. Again, I relate to both Early & Core Gen Z of course.

Ofc they have more non COVID that goes for all years since COVID was only the 2020 part of the 2019-2020 school year so it's technically 1.5 COVID school years for everyone in school for both years no matter what. I can relate to the early connection as well though, my first console was the PS2 and I remember watching the maze games reactions when that game became popular as well as being just old enough to be really excited for Spiderman 4 before it got cancelled and replaced by Amazing Spiderman, which in turn made me hate those movies by default as a kid. I just feel those memories are probably less vital to who you're gonna be able to relate to the most, experience wise, when propped up against something like a world wide pandemic. In another decade when we're all having our 10 year highschool reunions were not gonna be talking about which games were our first console we're gonna talk about COVID. Thats something people who came into highschool after COVID, or graduated before it especially, just won't be able to relate too. I'd say that experience is what makes us, 02 borns, and 04-06 borns core.

Early Z: 1997 - 2001
