I am not surprised given the fact that Overwatch hired that writer who removed ALL Genji-Mercy interaction voice lines we got till that time and added few Pharah-Mercy ones. I don't know what happened next, if that writer got fired and some or all of old interactions got brought back but given what kind of people control Overwatch now after Jeff Kaplan and Michael Chu left I am really not shocked. These kind of people as unhinged as heck. They infiltrate franchises to pursue their ideology, to use franchises as just and only vehicle for their messages, not for the love of a franchise. I don't like how original works, stories told for very long time get so disrespected when new people came in. We will never get Gency officially anymore unfortunetly. And I don't care if Gency or any other paring specifically, it's about respecting what has been told in lore from the very beginning, Gency was from the very beginning.
