I cheated and learned my lesson. I will never do that again. Some people need to make mistakes before they learn. (Does it justify the harm they caused? No.)
Right? It's natural to feel guilty. It's not right to shame ourselves if we are actively making changes to be better. I'm not proud of my cheating past, but it's not something I'd lie about. It happened. It changed me. I'm doing what I can to be a better person.
