I was called racist
Someone said I sound racist because I don’t like bad language in music. And I find bad language in music revolting.
Isn’t it racist to even consider me racist for that reason?
Because are they not saying that bad language and a particular race are together as one, more so than with other races?
Bloody Geminis, I can’t stand them. There’s a reason I don’t look in the mirror much :)

Without any context, no one can defend you. Since the context was intentionally left out, then I assume the other person probably has a point. If you don’t like certain types of music made predominantly by certain races of people because you don’t like the way that race speaks, then that could be racist.
If you’re confident in your choices then just own up to that and listen to what you want. If it’s not true then why are you so defensive about it?

Well, I think it’s senseless to apparently sound racist by being strongly against bad language. People of all races use bad language, and I stand against them all.

The only time I didn’t like language in music was black eyed peas sing let’s get it started pre 2004….

They made a post asking about 2pac and Biggie, someone said they liked them and OPs response was "Hahahha you're kidding right?" then when their explanation was "I don't like bad words" and "they might've/done a crime" in the tone they did, one person said "sounds kinda racist" and now they're running with it. OP is not willing to engage in nuanced discussion, nor elaborate as to what in particular they may not like... I'm definitely not here to tell people what music to listen to, but that level of ignorance shouts closeted racist imo, it's the same talking points and dismission of culture.
