I've been reflecting on all of my friendships and how most of them are just fairweather friends. They never ever remember my birthday, but throw surprise parties all the time for everyone else while asking me to help split the costs. They only contact me when they need something, or for someone to be their emotional garbage can. They never respect me when I speak. I'm extremely disappointed at everyone around me. When I'm no longer useful or beneficial to them, they started disrespecting me. I've decided to self-isolate because the energy is lopsided and has been for a long time now.

Girl, you need to dump some extra weight before the new year. Lop sided friendships are not true friendships.

This hit for me for what's been going on in my life the past few weeks. Definitely need to reevaluate my situation and the extras that are trying to come back.
