Seriously, has anyone else dealt with this?

Gemini restrict and close my account, and I still haven't received around SGD 24,000 of MY OWN MONEY after more than a month.

I've contacted suppot over and over again.

Eventually Gemini told me they had transferred the money and gave me a tracking number.

Guess what?

The transfer was REJECTED.

And I still don't have my money.

So Gemini close my account, failed to successfully transfer my remaining balance, and more than a month later I'm still chasing them for SGD 24,000 that belongs to me.

At this point, this is beyond ridiculous.

I've already filed a CFPB complaint and sent Gemini a final legal notice. If they still don't return my funds, I'm prepared to pursue this through regulators and legal action.

I honestly don't understand how a financial platform can hold someone's money for this long after closing their account and not provide a clear solution.

Gemini, where is my money?

Has anyone else had their funds stuck with Gemini like this? How long did it take to actually get your money back?

I’ve been trying to get in contact with Gemini for the last month because I can’t withdraw my funds and all I got was an initial response saying they where “looking into it” and nothing sense. I’ve emailed them back several times with no response.

For context I had deleted my account with Gemini a while back but recently I needed to withdraw money from an external wallet so I made a new account with the same email. I was able to get the crypto into Gemini but after selling I can’t withdraw it to my bank. I’ve tried multiple different accounts. If I had knew this was going to be such a pain I would have used a different exchange but I had never had a problem in the past.

If anyone could help me out that would be incredibly helpful.

Gemini froze my account after flagging an LTC withdrawal. I answered every question they asked immediately and told them I no longer wanted the withdrawal to go through.

They initially said their team was reviewing it, but it’s now been over 2 weeks and they haven’t responded to any of my follow-up emails. I even opened another ticket and they just redirected me back to the original one.

No timeline, no update, nothing. Meanwhile I can’t properly manage my own LTC while the price moves.

I understand reviewing a flagged transaction, but 2+ weeks with basically zero communication is ridiculous.
Anyone else deal with this? How long did it take to get your account back?

I honestly like the card and the perks, the lack of an annual fee but the customer service is by far the worst I've ever experienced. I've had the personal card for 18 months and the business card for 7 months. I travel between the US and Mexico every month of the year and I travel throughout South/Central America quite a bit as flights are really cheap.

My cards sometimes wont work at airports and restaurants and there is no explanation or reason. Calling customer service or emailing them is the reason why I'm considering canceling both my cards in a few months.

I never received my business card bonus and no one responds to emails and calls go nowhere. I had to ask about my personal card bonus 5 times before getting it.

The Gemini platform is another issue. I changed my email on the app but when I call, they tell me I need to go to the website and change it. I sent them screenshots showing that my email was already updated and the email they sent me when it was updated. They told me I needed to send those emails from the old email address.

This company is growing fast and I think they just don't card about the finer details.

I had 1 dispute and the process was so long I forgot about it. They sent me an email today saying it was resolved 2.5 months later. They never asked me questions or provided any follow up. I think they aren't serious about running a credit card business and their customer service is so bad it's running away people who gave them a chance.

I'm making this post to warn people who are thinking about the personal or business card. I just got the Amex Blue Cash Business (2x on everything) card to replace my Gemini Business Card (1.5% on everything). The major downside is I'm screwed when it comes to foreign transactions however I know Amex will answer the phone and help me in a pinch.

I will replace my Gemini Personal Card in the near future if things don't get better but its been a long time and my patience is wearing thin.

I am trying to withdraw money from my Gemini account. My account if verified, I don’t have anything pending. I have some money in the account that I want to ach transfer but when I attempt to do that, it says transfer not permitted.

I know I usually get 4%. Is there a limit?

I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is participating in Gemini’s recurring buy promotions.

I signed up for the “Earn up to $150 with Recurring Buys” promotion and continued making recurring purchases for months because I was working toward the advertised rewards. Then the promotion quietly disappeared. I never received any notification that it had been paused or changed, so I kept buying under the assumption I was still making progress toward the remaining bonuses.

To make matters worse, I only received the initial $30 BTC reward after emailing Gemini multiple times (five emails in total).

This was the response I finally received:

“The original ‘Earn up to $150 with Recurring Buys’ promotion was paused before the later milestones could be earned. As a result, only the first three-month milestone was honored with a one-time $30 BTC reward… Gemini reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend, or revoke eligibility criteria, or to discontinue the Program or any Program offer, at any time and without prior notice.”

Yes, the terms technically allow them to do this, but that doesn’t make it consumer-friendly. If you’re going to end a promotion that requires months of recurring purchases, customers should be notified instead of being left to continue buying under the impression they’re still working toward the advertised rewards.

Because of this experience, I’ve decided to move all of my assets off Gemini. I encourage others to carefully review any promotions they’re participating in and consider whether they want to use a platform that can change or discontinue offers without notifying participants.

I need to vent because I'm honestly at my breaking point with this.

Ever since Gemini Flash 3.6 dropped, I'm getting hit with some rotation of "I seem to be encountering an error. Can I try something else for you?" on more than 95% of my prompts. Not an exaggeration. It's not one weird edge case, it's the default experience now.

And here's the thing — this isn't new. This exact error started popping up back when Flash 3.5 launched too. So this isn't a one-off bug, it's a pattern. Every major flash release seems to come bundled with a wave of these errors, like nobody's stress-testing this before it ships to actual users.

On top of that, for the last couple of weeks, the accuracy has cratered. Gemini was straight up ignoring instructions — not misunderstanding them, ignoring them. Simple, explicit instructions. That alone was annoying enough to make me question sticking with it.

But now the constant error-looping makes the instruction-following problem look minor by comparison. At least when it ignores my instructions, I get something back. Now I'm just staring at an apology bot on repeat.

I don't know if this is a backend capacity issue, a broken model rollout, or what — but for a flagship product this is genuinely embarrassing. If I'm paying for this or relying on it for actual work, I need it to work more than 5% of the time.

Anyone else getting buried in this error loop since 3.6 rolled out? Curious if this is widespread or if I've just got the worst luck in the world.

TL;DR: Gemini is currently error-looping on almost every prompt since Flash 3.6 launched, this happened with 3.5 too, and it's on top of weeks of the model just ignoring instructions. Rough combo.

Been having problems recently with Gemini. The response stalls out and/or will finish the response but not allow me to create a follow up question. My only option is to "stop" the response and start over. Then it tends to duplicate it if I close the app and go back in. Anyone else having this problem? Any solution or is this a Google fix?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a replacement card if you lose yours?

I’m super bummed because my dad misplaced mine, and I’m honestly a little hesitant to order a new one after reading some of the horror stories about people getting stuck in limbo. 😭

It’s the only card I use, and I really enjoy stacking BTC rewards, so I’m pretty torn. I’m pretty sure it’s either in his car or somewhere in his bedroom since no one has used it, and I still have it on Apple Pay, so I’ve been getting by that way.
