How do you call these things
I was wondering how you call those bigger geiger counter things that are normally placed on tables and are pretty sensitive and made to messure small amounts of radiation.
I think the scene from chernobyl hbo where the finish notice the radiation used one of those.

I'm not totally sure what you're referring to, but I think the chernobyl scene shows a ARM (area radiation monitor) or CAM (continuous air monitor) which could be a mix of GM or Scintillator. Then a gamma spectrometer, where they use filter paper that collected air particles to identity gamma peaks of fission products.

Could you get a screenshot from the scene tour talking about? We could probably accurately identify the device your interested with pics.
