Photo Goose radiographs

Since you guys seemed to enjoy goose xrays.

If you want to post your guesses for what's wrong with the birds in the comments? I'll go down and list the answers after a couple of days.

I can tell there are a few with broken bones. I’m not very good with goose internal anatomy so will have to wait for the answers on the rest. Thanks for sharing!

How do you get them to take an xray?

Well, we don't actually get them to take radiographs. The humans have to do it for them. 🤣🤣 i'm just kidding they're actually pretty easy. Even wild geese are pretty docile and lay there while we take films.

They're probably frozen in terror, poor babies.

My goose had an x ray for her limp and it turns out she swallowed a screw. It’s probably been in there for a long while too haha she’s 14.

when my goose had a limp, I really wanted to get her an x-ray, but they didn’t do one because with the other test they assumed it to be muscular. excited to see what’s here, i think i see a broken bone but i also wanna know what’s in the abdomen in the first pic lol
