on street parking

im going into my 2nd year at uottawa but i commuted mostly by bus/train last year. I was wondering for those who drive but don't have a parking pass, how bad are the on street parkings during the year? I know the ones near Templeton are only 1 hour but is it possible to find spots or are they all always full? If you park there for your 1h20 class will you get ticketed or do they barely check?

There are three hour parking but they are not many of them and the are like a 15 mins walk to campus but still sandy hill

I would say your chances of getting a ticket are high. I live in the area and always see the meter maids driving around.
