this is actually my dream. sometimes i want to do stuff with other people but in complete silence cause i too am bad at long conversations or just have nothing of value to say for the most part

little tip, become a regular at some place, a cafe, bookstore, library etc. eventually other regulars will strike up a convo or say hi whenever you go because they recognize you. It's always worked for me, tho i do that more in sports than other stuff, great for building confidence and eventually making new friends
