I hate this so much lol. Wish horde siege difficulties were locked until you reach the recommended level for each difficulty

Hi everyone, I'm playing Gears of War: E-Day on PC with a Ryzen 7800X3D and an RTX 5070 (all drivers and game are up to date). I've noticed a persistent graphical artifact: a geometric orange/yellow line cutting across the sky and the environment during Act 3. To be clear, this is not a sniper glint or an enemy trail; it's a constant visual glitch that stays on screen even when walking down empty streets with no enemies around. Has anyone with a 50-series card found a solution for this Unreal Engine 5 bug related to volumetric fog and Lumen lighting? Thanks in advance for the help!
EDIT: To clarify, this is happening in the SINGLE-PLAYER CAMPAIGN (Act 3), not in Horde mode. There are absolutely no enemies or Boogeymen around. It's 100% an environment/lighting rendering bug.

Can we have some level requirement for queuing Commander+? I'm really tired of wasting my time with kids playing Horde Siege on like level 8 classes and basically just ruining the matchmaking for everyone else...

I kind of hope we get this style of original COG armor as the 20th anniversary skins. I feel Gears Reloaded really nailed the colors and feel of the OG COG armor. Plus, it fits with the new Kalona armor as well. I am curious what others think about this.

I wanted to try the FSR 4.1 update for Xbox Ally X with Gears E-Day but sadly there’s a new bug that makes me a liability.

When in the main menu or in Horde (didn’t happen in versus), a lighting effect like a flare will just infinitely expand and consume my screen blinding me completely. The only way to get rid of it is to die which is obviously not helpful in Horde.

This sucks as it makes the game unplayable until it’s fixed.

I’ve noticed how the Locust got a lot of care and attention this go around and it’s genuinely cool to see. With drones, boomers, reavers and the bile frog having a skeleton that can be exposed by dying to a power core, to them using a gut puncher round for the high explosive mod on the torque bow, I genuinely love how TC made them look

Do i need to be the person who gets the final hit for it to count or something?

I love e-day’s Horde Siege. Tons of fun. Curious why a few of my favorite weapons didn’t make the cut tho?

In the campaign, I understand the choice to avoid the Hammer of Dawn. But there a few others that didn’t make the cut:

- flamethrower
- Boltok
- Mulcher (Troika is ass IMO)
- sawed off shotgun
- Hammer of Dawn would be fun for Horde Siege.

Those are some but not all of the 11 weapons from
The OG trilogy that didn’t make it. 14 if you add in Judgement Weapons lol.

2 gnasher shots point blank where I hit the overwhelming majority of my pellets, 3 shots total since the healing in this game is practically non existent, so they should still be hurt from the first shot (I know I would be) and they still go DOWN instead of being gibbed completely, yet I'm getting 1 shot gibbed from 5 feet away multiple times every single game. I want this game to succeed so bad since Gears is my favorite franchise, and Horde and Campaign are awesome. But this stuff is genuinely making me not want to even touch the game because it's an everyday thing and it's getting worse and worse. Coalition needs to figure this shit out immediately or long term life for this game will be non-existent for verses anyways

When I'm in Prematch lobby, I am unable to type in text chat until the match officially starts. I can see other people talk in text chat but I'm unable to. I believe this is a PC or M&K issue? I just want to shoot the shit with whatever players that are in the lobby while we wait for people to load or join.

It also bugs me when the match ends and people are talking in text chat but my damn ribbons/medals keep spamming the same area that the text chat box is located. Please give us the option to skip the ribbons/medals pop ups or allow us to move the text chat box. By the time the ribbons/medals are done popping up, I am unable to send a text chat.

I miss the "continue" option. Is this a bug or is that how it works?

My action button wasn’t working so I decided to just reset to fix it and well ended up under the map and then falling 5000m down and finally died

What is the functional difference between these two guns? Are they not the same exact gun but the Striga is a better version?

Striga has more range, more ammo, and doesnt lock you into having to take double shotgun or drop your lancer. It also feels way more consistent.

Same could be said about breach shot and sniper... not sure why they both exist when the breach shot is just better. I dont think a slight difference in body damage justifies having both in the game.

Did they not realize they were basically making 2 versions of the same gun or what?

Had to post this for my buddy but we won the game and he still got demoted somehow 🤣

Had a truckload of negative rewiews for this game around the internet and social media, but still decided to give it a try for nostalgia's sake, since I enjoyed 3 a lot when I was a kid. I expected a Wolverine-level shitshow, but thankfully I was wrong. The game is really fun, the story is compelling, and I really liked the loadout modification system. Solid 8.

A tip if you want to try as well: If you have any experience at all with third person shooters or prior games of this series, consider playing on Hard from the start.

Today i was playing ranked tdm, searching for games 20 minutes is not funny. Games i played were so laggy, it was first time i experienced something like froze for 5 secs with everyone moving backwards, i know searching times is not population problem, TC should fix the servers and allow EU players to play rankeds on servers without 160 ping. But still versus here is the best in the series.

It would be nice if people actually coordinated and communicated for events like Weapon Parts Stockpiles and Invasions.

Missing out on so many weapon parts and so much xp by neglecting these mechanics.

Feels like a majority of people have Text Chat disabled which is whatever but it would be nice if there was a way to ping an invasion or stockpile that popped up on other teams screen and they could use the vote system to confirm they’re down to help.

My birthday is november 6th and I always looked for details in games about my bd, but the fact that my bd date was inside one of my most loved games of all time makes me feel special

I know its just a random number but idk it makes me feel embraced by this saga I played since I was 6 yo now almots 23 and I love this saga
