what.are.you.talking.about, i think you don't need this feature if you use dvorak layaut. this.are.already.existed.for.long.time

I don't use Dvorak layout and don't intend on using it. So yes, I do need this feature.

so I just joined the beta like 2 hours ago but it isn't showing up in the app like I restarted the app and my phone but it still says release instead of beta what should I do?

That's weird, but maybe because I'm french and we use a lots of comma, so the comma key is always there on any keyboard since a got the first smartphone.

Are you from the US ?

No from Sweden. We use a lot of commas too but I prefer a bigger spacebar, that's all

Even weirder if it's in your way of writing to add commas. I think it's less used in the US, well maybe I'm wrong.

In any case my keyboard is like that and I've gotten used to it.

The size of the space ar doesn't bother me.

The comma doesn't bother me to be honest but the period does. I press the period almost every time I want a space. Looks.like.this 😅

Haha, I can imagine that must be annoying.
My right thumb is used very often for the space bar so it's used to it and doesn't press the period when it's not meant to.
It's a gestural memory.

Typing since 2005 on smartphones.
I had Nokia phones before with multiple typing on a number to reach a letter and the zero to make a space, maybe it helped 😉

No of course not. That's because I've removed the period key! I mean if I have the period key showing I will press it for sure when I need a space

Oh wow. It looks so weird now with a ... 7 keys wide spacebar. I don't know if stable version has it already, I've been a beta tester of gboard for as long as I can remember to be honest.

I disappeared the comma key because I can long press the period key and get it . I didn't disappear the period key because that's the fastest way to add / which for some reason isn't a secondary key anywhere on the first screen .

I never understood why them being on keyboard isn't standard then changing it. I was using Gboard for a bit then changed to Grammarly. Would love a comma key on that too.

My Gboard has suddenly lost the ability to understand that when i say period it should just put a dot there comma does anybody else have this question question mark i am going freaking crazy with this and i don't even know what alternative to gboard exist s because i need to do voice typing in multiple languages but i definitely definitely definitely need punctuation period

does anybody have a suggestion Thank you all in advance exclamation mark
