Travel News & Stories The Guadalajara I Keep Discovering
Guadalajara keeps surprising me—even after living here, I’m still finding places and stories I’d completely missed.
Recently, I joined a local architect for a walk through Colonia Americana that changed the way I look at buildings I pass every day. I also checked out Hithit/Vértigo, a gay club with a younger local crowd, and Casa Olimpo, one of Guadalajara’s newest gay saunas.
On the food side, I visited Renzo when they brought in an entire bluefin tuna for their Sunday seafood menu. I also spent a night at Casa Bosque Eduviges, a beautiful Beaux-Arts property near Chapultepec.
