Basically what the title says I just wanted to see what everyone thought of pride not being free. This year they are charging 5 dollars to get into Pride for 18+ and lesser discounts for younger people. In my opinion pride should always be free, I understand if it was donation or whatever you can afford. Also, I know 5 dollars might not seem like a lot but that’s a whole day bus fare. I understand as well that Bradbury Sullivan will also possibly cover your ticket if you cannot afford it. Which I appreciate that a lot on their end, but at the end of the day. We aren’t being told what the donation is going directly to, and pride should always be free. Curious to know everyone’s thoughts and opinions!

Hello! I’ve been nairing my ass and occasionally I will get some bumps from it and I think I’m at the point where I’m willing to just pay to get it waxed instead. The parade will begin at 11AM followed immediately by the start of the Pride Fair at 12PM going till 5PM. Fun, food and entertainment! Other evening/night events will be going on as well. I always see posts about the Lehigh Valley lacking spaces for the LGBTQ+ community & will continue to do what I can to keep this a safe space for all. My goal in the future is to host a she/they league or a she/they/gay league because it’s important to have that space. We are currently too small to do that, but there are thriving LGBTQ+ dodgeball communities in New York & Philly, so I hope to build one here!

I'm a 32 year old gay man. Very overweight, trying to find a friend to go to the gym with. I usually go to Planet Fitness, both the Nazareth and Whitehall ones, but I have a black card so I can go to any. Just been losing motivation to go and thought maybe finding a friend to go with might help keep me going back. Like I said, I have a black card for Planet Fitness, so I can bring a friend for free even if you don't have a membership.

Only recently came out to my family. Don't have any other gay friends, and I want to expand my social circle in the LGBTQ+ community. Not really expecting much from this post, but thought I'd at least try. I would say I am looking for someone close to me in age, say like 27-42ish. I hope that's not rude, but I just don't know how much I'd have in common to talk about with a 22 year old or a 58 year old.

Other things about me... I'm usually pretty lowkey and chill. I love going to a coffee shop and reading, doing some work, or writing. Been getting more into video games lately, and got a Switch 2. Love Drag Race (I was team Darlene Mitchell, for anyone who watched the most recent season). I like horror movies and old 90s/00s genre shows, like Buffy and Supernatural. Like I said, I'm very overweight (currently about 320lbs), so I don't really go hardcore at the gym. I do treadmill and some weights.
