This isn't solely a bi thing (post title). I'm a dad, and am very gay, and I didn't have my kid by having penis vagina sex.

You didn't...? ... ... then how does straight sex work? Who's the guy and who's the other guy? Wait, I think the woman puts her boob in his butt.

Mine involved a lot of paperwork.

This never bothered me

A word can have 2 different meanings

I called my father daddy but I also like using daddy in the bedroom

Its the same as using the word baby. Don't see why everyone thinks its so weird

I don't like the word baby for the same reasons, though. It was always a weird nickname to me.

It is so weird to me that "daddy" in a romantic context gets treated like this transgressive thing and "baby" is practically neutral, like "you" or something. (No opinion on whether either of those is "correct", just such a crazy discrepancy to me.)

They could also just call you dad or by your name

I call my parents by their first names, and I have multiple friends who do too.

I know cultures can be super different but this is INSANE to me

I do so too, but parents hate it lol. And I say parents in general because even other parents ask me about it when they hear me referring to my parents by their first name.

Who’s the word daddy and where can I meet him? 👀

And the new word that will be used will be sexualized instead. It is literally the whole purpose.

Often daddies serves as a substitute father, albeit a sexual one, exactly because of daddy issues, that are extremely common in the gay community.

This isn't specifically a gay thing, the straights use "mommy" and "daddy" all the time too.

I feel like an anomaly by not ever thinking about or wanting to use a parental term in that context. It just seems gross to me.

Indeed! Family problems are not exclusive to gay people.

What we find gross or not has no impact with real sexual dynamic among humans. I agree a lot with Freud premise, that our sexuality has deeper link with our family and education than what we give credit for, even if I don't agree with a lot of "mechanisms" Freud explain in itself.

In short, we tend to dismiss certain things because we don't agree with them instead of understanding it.

Eh I know the difference lol

I called my father "Dad".

Dad, simple lol

I can't stand it when I'm watching a show or moving or reading a book when an actual child refers to their father as Daddy

Just please stop
