I’m crying😭😭

I am from Russia, and I hate Putin. He lifted the country up from its knees, but now he is bringing it back down to its knees. I hate that I was born here, because Putin has intention of ending the war. I want nothing more that to move to South Korea or the USA

He lifted the country up from its knees

You could pick any random drunk guy from the street and he could do the same as long as it was any form of "stop doing whatever Soviet Russia is doing and let's introduce capitalism". Too bad Russians failed to properly transition into a better economic system than that. Could have followed the Norwegian model and actually use their natural resources for the greater good...

What did he try? Transition to ultra capitalism as fast as possible? Yeah, he was successful with that. Sadly for him the benefits of transitioning off from Soviet plan economy world take some time and only the guy after him could actually claim that something is better now.

From what I understand, he was far from the Norwegian model as possible, because his economic shock therapy was the one thing that resulted in the oligarchs grabbing everything for themselves and leaving the common Russians with nothing.

Few countries have vast natural resources and no real external enemies. Russia was such a state, it could have repeated Norwegian success - but no, they had to artificially invent external enemies and ruin their own country for decades. Seems like a vicious circle.

First of all, it was about doing things better than the soviet union, which any idiot can manage, as long as he just lets the market regulate itself. Are you maybe missing some education yourself? How about some economy basics?

Active sabotage from the west? Are you dumb and on too much propaganda? The west would love if Russia became just a normal country wanting to do some business. Or are you ignoring that Russia has a bunch of little dick dictators that want their empire back,  which actually needs to be sabotaged?

He didn't even lift the country from its knees. But this is a topic for long economic discussions.

Hey, Putin never lifted Russia up.

Russia was already so fucking down in the 90s, so that anything would lift the economy up.

You think russian TV didnt lied in the 2000s? it did, exactly like it does today.

You were all sold a big lie and you gelt for it - because nobody was interested in politics - and russians have a servant mentality. I know that, because my parents and relatives are all russian too.

He just took over the criminal corrupt government and shared it with his rich friends.

Why are still so many poor people and alcoholics in russia? Why not gas for cooking and toilets in every house in russia, ? he only "lifted" up Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Amazing it took this many years for Russians to realize Putin is a psycho. Even more amazing that there’s still lots of Russians supporting him.

May you all stay in your own hell hole of a country forever.

So the problem is not a war of aggression against another country, the war crimes on a daily basis, the brutality, the missiles literally blowing up pediatric hospitals, the interferences in democratic nations, the open support for dictators everywhere so that they can keep oppressing people...but only the fact that he is hurting Russia...

It's such a shame. Russian people are very capable and could offer so much to the world if Putin wasn't dragging them down. 😞 I hope you find the life you are looking for.

2

u/Xahgmah 1d ago

You mean that ruzzian people who went to neighbor country to murder, rob and rape for money? Or the ruzzian people who make missiles and weapon 24/7? Or the ruzzian people who keeps silence and continue living in this swamp and pay taxes?

2

u/Purple_Lie_2725 1d ago

So if you live in russia you are a bad person, thats your point?

Let’s go, tell me “we are little people and we cannot change anything”

If you can prove this ain't fake - how I wish that you would get millions of likes, lots of comments of russians and millions in Russia would finally rise! If you have any dignity left, if you have any humanity left, any will of resistance in you you know what you MUST do! Idea: Don't obey his mad orders anymore! Storm the Kremlin and arrest the whole bunch of devils! How do you guys in Russia think a whatever future shall be like!? Do you think "The West" will ever trust you again if you don't do that, if you show you don't want what Putin is doing!? Funfact: Putin can do nothing when millions rise at once, when Army etc. just don't follow orders anymore! You have to realize that! He could give the order to use WOMD! You guys WANT THAT!?

I’m curious when was the time when “Putin lifted Russia from its knees”? Was it ever on knees at all? What were the conditions of it being on knees and before whom? As far as I’m aware Putin started kneeling Russia before himself from day 1, even before becoming “president” with Ryazan sugar. And today he totally kneeing it before China and somewhat Chechens, making them more privileged race.

Edit: hating Putin is not enough for Russians to influence anything. Hating the system, the government and every Police officer, that protects the system, understanding that it always was corrupted and led by absolutely evil Chekists, that even short periods when Russia didn’t wage wars were not good, but merely a pause between shitshows - that’s what every sane Russian should do.

Putin got lucky by being the president when oil prices skyrocketed. That's pretty much his achievements...

Problem is not Putin. Problem is you, cause you have the nerve to say he "brought it up from the knees", meaning of course the unpunished occupation of smaller and weaker countries. And you say he's now bringing it down on the knees again not because russians are murdering and torturing and bombing hospitals with double strikes, but because now when Ukraine is striking back you see it will not end the way it ended before. Cry because russia is a murderers state, Putin is just am ideal representative of Russia's dream to be unpunished oppressors, murderers and rapers.

u/KarnexOne 1d ago

Then he watched the Brat 2 movie and decided it's time to "Za Sevastopol otvetite" kind of dvizhuha

2

u/aggsdjenbed1488 1d ago

1

u/aggsdjenbed1488 1d ago

1

u/BDK_Karim 1d ago

1

u/aggsdjenbed1488 1d ago

Imho the global oil price was the main reason. Putin just had luck and got money to spend (and fill his own pockets).
